Nolah at Our Midtown Showroom
Nolah and Bear are the two recovery-minded brands on this floor, and they pull in opposite directions: the Nolah Evolution is the softer, more pressure-relieving of the pair, the Bear Elite Hybrid the firmer and more zoned.
Best for side sleepers carrying shoulder or hip pain, who need the surface to give way rather than push back.

Good to Know
Where can I try a Nolah mattress in Midtown?
You can try Nolah at The Sleep Loft's Midtown showroom, 1056 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10065. Call (646) 400-5758. On the floor here: the Nolah Evolution 15-inch Hybrid.
Is Nolah a good choice for shoulder pain?
That is what the Evolution 15-inch is designed around. Nolah AirFoam is engineered to relieve pressure at the shoulder and hip rather than push back against them, which is why it tends to suit side sleepers who wake up with a numb arm or an aching shoulder. It is the softer of the two recovery-focused brands here — the Bear Elite Hybrid next to it is noticeably firmer.
Which Nolah models are on the floor in Midtown?
At the Midtown showroom you can lie on the Nolah Evolution 15-inch Hybrid. By contrast, the Nolah Original 10-inch, Signature 12-inch, Signature Hybrid, Natural 11-inch and Evolution Comfort+ can be ordered online rather than tested in this showroom. Nolah AirFoam is built for shoulder and hip pressure relief, so side sleepers tend to know within a minute whether it works for them.
How does Nolah compare to the other brands on the floor?
Nolah and Bear are the two recovery-minded brands on this floor, and they pull in opposite directions: the Nolah Evolution is the softer, more pressure-relieving of the pair, the Bear Elite Hybrid the firmer and more zoned. Best for side sleepers carrying shoulder or hip pain, who need the surface to give way rather than push back.
