The Helix Kids Mattress is an 8-inch flippable hybrid built to grow with a child from roughly ages 3 to 12. Each side is tuned to a different stage: a firmer side supports younger children (ages 3-7), while the other side offers a slightly softer, still-supportive feel for older kids (ages 8-12). Simply flip the mattress as your child's needs change.
Construction is a true hybrid: a soft, breathable Tencel cover treated with water-repellent and antimicrobial finishes sits over thin foam comfort layers (a gel memory foam side and a higher-grade poly-foam side) surrounding a central core of individually wrapped pocketed coils. The coils provide responsive, healthy support and airflow, while the foam layers add age-appropriate cushioning.
