SMS Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies specifically to the Sleep Loft Internal Order Alerts SMS program, which provides recurring transactional Shopify order notifications to authorized The Sleep Loft personnel.

Information collected

For this program, The Sleep Loft can collect the recipient's mobile telephone number, opt-in and opt-out status, message delivery information, and limited alert metadata necessary to operate and troubleshoot the service.

How information is used

This information is used only to enroll authorized recipients, deliver internal order alerts, honor opt-out requests, provide support, maintain security, and comply with applicable law. It is not used to send customer marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Mobile information and consent data

Mobile information and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information can be disclosed to service providers such as Shopify and Twilio only as necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the SMS program, or when required by law. These service providers are not authorized to use the information for their own marketing.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on Shopify order activity and can be up to one alert per order. Message and data rates may apply.

Retention and security

The Sleep Loft retains program information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve delivery issues, meet legal obligations, and protect the business. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect this information.
